CONTRIBUTION IN THE FIELD OF MATH ACTIVITIES
Swamiji, after initiation into Monkhood, selected Tumkur as his center of service activities and founded the Ramakrishna-Vivekananda Ashrama in Tumkur in 1992. The Government of Karnataka granted 2 acres of land. A spacious Ashrama building was constructed as a result of Swamiji's relentless efforts. Swamiji conducts daily satsang bhajan and discourses at the Ashrama, which is well attended and appreciated by a large number of devotees. He has inspired the devotees to form satsang kendras in their localities where they meet for bhajan and discourses. Swamiji visits these centers regularly and guides them in the path of spirituality and social service. A 'Vivekananda Youth center' (Yuva Kendra) is founded in the Ashrama. Sunday classes are held for the youth. The youth are trained in the field of nationalism, religious tolerance, importance of service and sacrifice.
