The 3rd Anniversary of "Vivekananda Yuvaka Sangha" was celebrated on 20th April 2008 in Ashrama in a meaningful way.
      Rev. Swami Jagadatmanandaji Maharaj, President of Sri Ramakrishna Sharadashrama, Ponnampet, Kodagu (dist. ) and a Senior monk of the ramakrishna order presided the program. Rev. Swami Nirbhayananda Saraswathi, president of Ramakrishna-Vivekananda Ashram, Gadag-Bijapur spoke on this occasion. Rev. Swami Veereshananda Saraswathi and Sri Krishna Bhat, Honourable Judge, Sessions Court, Tumkur were also present.
      Cultural programmes from members of yuvaka sangha was the highlight of this year's anniversary. The cultural program started with a one and a half hour skit called "Vishwamanya Vivekananda" which was based on some of the important events in the life of Swami Vivekananda. The skit was well appreciated by the audience.
      The Skit was followed by two of the popular folk dances - Kolaata and Veeraghase Kunitha. These events were also well received by the audience.
