The study of the lives of great men help us to make our lives sublime. Keeping this in view, the Tumkur Ashram organized two special study courses for the benefit of devotees. A study of the life of Sri Matha was organized as a "Sankalpa Vratha" in which 800 women devotees participated. Another study of ‘Swami Vivekananda's life has been organized in which 1450 devotees took part.
During the year 2005-2006, about 1000 devotees are studying "Yugavataara Sri Ramakrishna" which deals with the life and messages of
Sri Ramakrishna.
