Dear Swamiji,

      Hope you are in possession of my previous letters,

      I am writing this letter to you in the capacity of the Regional Director of the Universal Peace Federation (India),
which has its headquarters at New York with its branches all over the world including India. This is an organization
which functions in unison with UN (United Nations) for promoting its objectives almost like an unofficial organ of the
same. Recognising your deep rooted concern and spirit of involvement in promoting a peaceful and ideal world order
as reflected in several of your Seoul speeches, my headquarters at New York has requested me to arrange for
conferring upon you the award of "Ambassador for peace", which you may please accept.

      Equally I'm happy to inform you that Swami Veereshananda Saraswathi of Tumkur, whom you had highlighted for his services to the destitute and student community is also being conferred upon with the same title.

       The "Ambassador for peace" initiative is a worldwide network of leaders dedicated to transcending racial, religious
and ethnic boundaries to promote a world of genuine peace. Ambassadors For Peace are a global network of leaders representing the religious, racial and ethnic diversity of the human family, as well as all disciplines of human endeavor. They stand on the common ground of shared principles, committed to the path of promoting reconciliation, overcoming barriers, and building peace.

      To inform you about our future activities in India, we are now proposing to hold the next conference in the series at Chennai on August 10 th 2007. The theme of this meeting will be "Youth and Human Security." We will be discussing a
wide range of issues connected with safeguarding the interests of the youth, mobilizing them in the cause of world peace, meeting the threat of HIV-AIDS, issues relating to education and character building, etc. A number of experts from India and abroad will be participating in the seminar. The Co-Chairman of the Universal Peace Federation, Shri Eduardo Faleiro, and the Founder Chairman of the International Educational Cultural Foundation, USA, will be be participating, along with Youth Leaders as well as political personalities.

      I am writing to request you to kindly participate in this important initiative on 10th of August. Please find attached the Invitation. I do hope you will not disappoint us! Awaiting your important reply.
